Very happy to have discovered that with only 82 pics uploaded, I've actually sold one. Couple of things I didn't realise...
1. I have to hit $250 of sales before I get paid so another however long wait for the next sale!
and
2. It wasn't until I checked back that I saw the sale, I would have thought alamy would have a system in place to email sale info to contributors.
Anyway, that's all folks!

As an alamy contributor make sure you read all the relevant info at http://www.alamy.com/contributors/default.asp especially the financial info under 'images on sale'

Congratulations, Hoddo on your first sale; that must have been a wonderful moment to experience. My joyous moment will be when I get off dial-up service and finally get high-speed internet.
I believe the "first sale" tradition calls for the passing out of new "L" lenses to everyone on the Forum Excused from this tradition are those forum members whose forum log-in name begins with a G. Oh, you were SO close!

Not wanting to dampen your enthusiasm but it's actually $250 in cleared funds after Alamy have taken their 40%...
