White balance? Looks a bit greenish?
Good luck.

I agree 12m pixels is plenty, esp with Genuine Fractals or similar...
It's that little thumb controller knob I like on the grip for D700, I think that a D3 or D4..... needs that extra knob for convenience.

A D700s would be cool. What is nice about D3s and poss D700s??? is that it has 100% viewfinder and sensor cleaner... What I like about the D700 over the D3, forgetting cleaner, is the knob on the gripBig smile

I have submitted birds to Alamy and they have passed.
I do mean the birds that are blobs but that look like birds. QC does know what a bird looks like.

I used my D700 today and saw an insecty bug like thing in my viewfinder, quite small, but a pain in the viewfinderDisappointment Disappointment
I opened the front and looked inside, nothing on the focusing screen or mirror, I even wiped them with a VD brush, in case my eyes deceived me.
But it was still there in viewfinder.
Called Nikon, they said it prob got in, then wondered behind the mirror and died.
So my D700 is on its way to Nikon, as of tomorrow.
Keep you posted on costs and time to do etc...

The faces look sharp to me, plenty of detail. I would try it. Let us know!

I'm taking all my photos with me...

Now there's a smart move. You could make an absolute fortune selling pics to those on the other side.

Well, I think I will only be going down, not sure they will have me up there with the angles, the hard drives will burn up before I get even closeJust joking
