Alamy is the largest stock photo on the web, headquartered in the UK. Launched in 2001, the company has expanded rapidly and now has over 16million high quality and mainstream and specialist images from thousands of photographers, picture agencies and national collections. Customers include newspapers, magazines, book publishers, advertising agencies and corporate marketing departments from around the world.

We opened a new sales office in Brooklyn in February 2009 to support our growth into the US market and are now looking at recruiting a customer service team to enhance our efforts.

The role

Duties include dealing with a number of in-bound enquires, general administration, billing and providing quotes for various client projects with some involvement in sales promotion. A confident telephone manner as well as strong team and organisational skills are essential. Sales or negotiation experience useful, but not essential, as relevant training will be given. This position also requires a reasonable knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel and Outlook) and an interest in media and the creative marketplace.
