Bolivian foreign secretary David Choquehuanca (left) greets the Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (centre) after a meeting with Bolivian president Evo Morales Ayma in the Presidential Palace in La Paz. During the meeting the presidents revised previous bilateral agreements, promised to continue developing political and economic relations and cooperate in the fight against the drug trade. Iran is already supporting and financing industrial, health and sanitation projects in Bolivia.

This is the third time president Ahmadineyad has visited Bolivia (previous visits were in 2007 and 2009).
