Protesters were outside Parliament tonight as a debate was taking place in Parliament following a petition signed by 606,608 people calling on the Government not to ban the XL Bully. From 1 February 2024 it will be a criminal offence to own an XL Bully in England and Wales unless the owner has a Certificate of Exemption for the dog. This new law has been implemented by the Government following a number of people being killed or badly injured by attacks from XL Bully Dogs. It has been reported that at least 246 XL Bully dogs will be euthanised when the ban comes
