London's Jewish community celebrated Hanukkah in Trafalgar Square with an event called Chanukah in the Square. Mayor of London Boris Johnson officiated at the event which brought together notable members of London's Jewish community to watch musicians and choirs perform in front of crowds. Otherwise known as the Festival of Lights, Hanukkah is celebrated this year between sunset on November 27th and nightfall on December 5th.
