This twenty thousand square foot total refurbishment of the existing facility and its extension under a lightweight ETFE roof created a new centralised outpatient reception as well as supporting offices, ancillary facilities and additional concessions. The patient-focused design creates an intuitive, modern, non-clinical space, which feels more like a hotel or airport than a hospital. The concourse provides high-quality facilities for new arrivals and has been designed to integrate efficient patient flows with defined relaxation areas, accommodating seating for two hundred and fifty patients and visitors.
