Kelso Abbey in the small Scottish Borders town of Kelso. A 12th century abbey where David the 1st of Scotland resided. Kelso in The Scottish Borders. With a population of around six thousand Kelso is one of many small town making up the Scottish Borders. The River Tweed being a feature of the town with many fishermen and women spending time there. Attractions include Kelso Abbey, Kelso Racecourse, Kelso Ice Rink and Springwood Park where The Border Union Show is held every year along with Kelso Dog Show and the Ram Sales.
