Police Operation Support Officers leaving their van to deal with anti-fracking protesters at the Cuadrilla Shale Gas fracking site on Preston New Road, Little Plumpton, Blackpool. Protest held each working day outside Cuadrillas shale gas fracking site on Preston New Road, Little Plumpton near Blackpool where Cuadrilla intend to frack for shale gas. Protests are held each day in an effort to prevent Cuadrilla from fracking as protesters believe the process may cause earthquakes, which happened when Cuadrilla fracked at Preese Hall when Cuadrilla caused an earthquake of 2.3 magnitude. The protesters also fear the process may pollute the land, air and aquifers.
