In 2011 their traditional wedding customs were on the 3rd National Intagible Cultural Heritage List. They insist monogamy, men and women share same Family name and same origin, or different positions in the clan can't get married, only same Family name and different origin are allowed to. Their marriage is made of proposal, agreement, choosing a matchmaker, suggesting a marriage, inviting the guests, wedding and other parts. There are 5 procedures: One, putting ornaments on: At the beginning of the wedding, brides will be put on ornaments and pointed red tasseled felt hat. Two, fete: The groom's team needs to sacrifice many gods when picking up the bride, and the bride's part will block them. Three, rush to the house: Bride's team needs to ride a horse and rush to the little house in front of groom's home. Four, bride needs to cross the fire and shot by an arrow: It's to exorcise evil spirits and bless.
