Notes found with the smashed remains of a rare 1741 stained glass window at The Vyne, a National Trust mansion in Hampshire and Alfred Fisher the restorer who pieced it back together. The window was found smashed to pieces in in a crate during a £2.2m restoration of the Tudor mansion which is near Basingstoke.
