Aerial view over the Old City of Jodhpur from a balcony high up on the Mehrangarh Fort. In the distance is a maze of cobalt blue in differing shades and hues. All of the houses in the Old City were painted this colour as it was once the privelege of the Brahmin caste. It's also rumoured that the indigo hue is an effective mosquito repellent.
