The village of Yalding Kent was one of many towns and villages in the South East to be flooded following the storms of 23rd December 2013. Yalding is situated at the converging rivers of the Beult, Teise and Medway and has suffered many floods. Officials go from door to door offering help. Much of the village was without electricity five days after the storm.
