Afon Glaslyn flowing through the Aberglaslyn Pass in Snowdonia. From its source, Llyn Glaslyn' high up in the Snowdon Horseshoe, Afon Glaslyn flows into another lake just below, Llyn Llydaw, before tumbling into the Gwynant valley through Cwm Dyli hydro electric power station or a series of waterfalls. If flows through two lakes; Llyn Gwynant and Llyn Dinas before flowing through the picturesque tourist village of Beddgelert before flowing to the sea at Porthmadog. It is joined by Afon Llan flowing from Snowdon and Afon Colwyn which flows from Rhyd Ddu area to join it in Beddgelert.
