Good old fashioned rock n' roll is here to stay - and Drumchapel's New Generation Rock team are proof of that. For 16 youngsters from the Glasgow housing scheme's Argo Youth Centre have formed a rock n' roll jive formation team, let by Trudi Danks (pictured on the right) And now they've made such a hit that they are being lined up for a spot on BBC TV's multi coloured Swap Shop. Last night the team - Elizabeth Clark, 14, Jim Smith, 15, Julie Fox, 15, Janus Wards, 16, Wendy Danks, 15 and David Clark, 16 - were busy rehearsing. 15th November 1977.
