The Palladian Villas are a collection of Venetian villas built in the mid-sixteenth century by the architect Andrea Palladio, for the most important local families: especially aristocrats but also some members of the upper class of the Venetian Republic. between 1994 and 1996 24 Palladian Villas of the Veneto were included, in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
