The PT-109 Bar & Restaurant is a Gizo landmark and one of the legendary watering holes of the South Pacific. It's name is derived from the World War II US torpedo boat commanded by John F. Kennedy that was rammed and sunk nearby by a Japanese destroyer. Gizo, Ghizo Island, Solomon Islands. (Spelling difference is correct)
