Although it is half a century ago now that the screen star died, his name has by no means forgotten. Presently two films about his life are being made, one in the United States (with Russian dancer Rudolf Nurekew) and one in Italy (with Helmut Berger). Valentino, born as Rodolfo Guglielmi di Valentino d'Antonquella on May 6th 1895 in Castellaneta/Italy, had emigrated to American in 1913
