John Charles, Leeds United's 25-year-old Welsh International centre-forward, pirouettes on one foot as he crashes the ball past diving Subderland goalkeeper Fraser, to score Leeds' first goal in the First Division match at Elland Road ground today (Easter Monday). Charles later contributed another goal in his side's 3-1 victory, giving a memorable performance in what was probably his last appearance in English League soccer. Charles is soon to join Italian club Juventus of Turin, who are paying about 70,000 for him.
