The burned out cargo ship "Tina Scarlett". The 2000-ton Dani driver "Tina Scarlett", built in a Hamburg shipyard, rammed the Belgian tanker "Diamant" on 7 October 1960 on her way from Koln after Rotterdam near the border town of Emmerich. The tanker immediately leaked and the gas leaked caught fire. The Dutch motor ship "Farewell 2" sailed a little later into the nested ships. The rapidly spreading flames attacked eight other larger and smaller motor ships. The accident killed two people, eight suffered severe burn injuries. | usage worldwide
