Privy Garden, Hampton Court PalaceMore information:
The Privy Garden has existed on the south side of Hampton Court Palace since the reign of Henry VIII. The garden today is a restoration of William III's baroque Privy Garden of 1702. A unique example of English baroque garden design, it is one of the most accurately reconstructed gardens because so much was recorded about the original in 1702. The reconstruction project took five years and the garden was opened in 1995 by HRH Prince Charles.
