(11-21 Feb. 1997) --- Astronaut Gregory J. Harbaugh, mission specialist, floats horizontally in the cargo bay of the Earth-orbiting Space Shuttle Discovery, backdropped against its giant temporary passenger, the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). Harbaugh, sharing this space walking activity with astronaut Joseph R. Tanner (out of frame), is actually recognizable through his helmet visor in the 70mm frame. He is near the Second Axial Carrier (SAC), Axial Scientific Instrument Protection Enclosure (ASIPE). STS-82 marked the first flight of the exit airlock, partially visible at bottom edge of photo.
