The restoration project around the tower clock arose in 2019 from civic engagement and is consequently coordinated by a working group consisting of the Oekumenisches Europa-Centrum Frankfurt (Oder) e.V. (OEC), citizens and the monument protection authority. The OEC is the center and driving force of the project. The ceremonial commissioning of the tower clock is to take place on Europe Day on 09.05.2023. Photo: Patrick Pleul/dpa/ZB
