[ 1900s Japan - Gojo Ohashi, Kyoto ] — Gojo Ohashi Bridge in Kyoto was originally located at Gojobomon-dori, now known as Matsubara-dori. Toyotomi Hideyoshi (1537-1598) moved the bridge to its current location when he built the Buddha hall at Hokoji Temple. 20th century vintage postcard.
