[ 1920s Japan - Tokyo Station ] — Tokyo Station, located in the Marunouchi business district of Tokyo, near the Imperial Palace grounds and the Ginza commercial district. The building was designed by architect Tatsuno Kingo to celebrate Japan's victory in the Russo-Japanese War. The station opened on December 20, 1914. In 1921, Prime Minister Takashi Hara was assassinated here. 20th century vintage postcard.
