In Broken Hill in New South Wales at the top of the Slag pile stands the Miners Memorial.Broken Hill hosts the world's richest Lead Zinc Ore body and the city itself is still very dominated by the mining industry. This platform shows a really good view of the North side of the city. The platform was built in 2000 to commemorate the miners who have lost their lives in the mines.
