Buffalo City Hall, a stunning example of the Art Deco Style, was completed in 1931. The novel design of the north wing of the building created a spectacular stained glass ceiling that illuminates the City Council Chamber using sunlight. Elevators take visitors to the 25th floor, where three flights of stairs lead to the 28th floor observation deck, which is open to the public.
