Standing on the remains of an old dam across the Mohawk River just west of Little Falls, NY. Factories were once located along the river to take advantage of the swift moving water as an energy source. Many abandoned factories remain such as the one on the bank. Beyond the older structure is the new highway bridge and more old factories can be seen under it.
