By the time the runners reached the finish line in Manhattan’s Central Park, Brazilian favorite Do Nascimento collapsed short of race’s end, Israeli Lonah Chemtai took second place, and Kenyan’s Sharon Locki and Evens Chebet won their respective women’s and men’s first place titles.
