A Chinese staff shows an HP laptop computer which was made at HP Chongqing PC Manufacturing Facility at the inauguration of HP Chongqing PC Manufacturing Facility in Chongqing, China, 26 January 2010. U.S. PC manufacturer Hewlett-Packard (HP) started the production of personal computers at its newly-built Chongqing facility. HP and contract electronics manufacturer Foxconn International Holdings jointly invested US$3 billion to develop the PC manufacturing hub. The manufacturing center will have a capacity of 20 million PCs a year and will be fully operational in 2012, with most of the output exported to European markets.
