More information:

Claas Lexion is a series of combine harvesters, manufactured by Claas in Harsewinkel. An American version called Lexion was produced by Claas Omaha Inc. in the United States. The LEXION 7000-8000 series combines are a class 10 combine that features intelligent systems and design to deliver more throughput in all conditions with minimal grain loss. Once again in the new LEXION, CEMOS AUTOMATIC adjusts the machine settings automatically for optimal throughput and top threshing quality. New functions of the LEXION, such as the threshing concave flap and the concave bar, are integrated in the system and are therefore also under automatic control. The new electronic architecture includes the laser-based FIELD SCANNER which steers the machine along the edge of the crop to the left or right or along the tramline. Integrated in the cab roof, it uses the signal from the automatic front attachment detection function to adjust its response in accordance with the CLAAS front attachment fitted. The FIELD SCANNER hardware comes from the automotive sector where it is widely used.
