More information:

A giant panda-shaped art installation is being installed on the facade of the Chengdu IFS shopping mall in Chengdu city, southwest Chinas Sichuan province, 23 December 2013. A giant panda was witnessed to have climbed onto the rooftop of a luxury shopping mall in the southwestern Chinese city of Chengdu. But do not worry, it was just an art installation. The panda, called I Am Here, was one of the latest creations of American artist Lawrence Argent, the creator of the well-known art installations like I See What You Mean, and Leap. The 15-meter-tall steel panda weighs 13 metric tons and is the first outdoor art installation of Lawrence Argent in China. It was being installed on the facade of the Chengdu IFS shopping mall and would be unveiled on 14 January 2014 to mark the official opening of the commercial complex.
