A musician performes a traditional Mexican song on the Day of the Dead (in Spanish: Día de Muertos) in the municipal cemetery of Playa del Carmen. All Saints' Day in Mexico coincides with the first day of the Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) celebration. It commemorates children who have died (Dia de los Inocentes) and the second day celebrates all deceased adults. In 2008, the tradition was inscribed in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. On Tuesday, 2 November 2021, in Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
