A new set of Royal Mail Stamps, featuring the intrepid Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton. The stamps depict scenes from the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition from 1914 to 1917, described as the first crossing of the last continent. *British Antarctic Territory, Falkland Islands and South Georgia & The South Sandwich Islands will each issue three stamps also featuring Shackleton (1874-1922).
