Men, women and children of 10 Yazidi families living in the village of Bacine gathered at the Yazidi Cultural Center after morning prayers, wearing the most colorful and beautiful dresses. Yazidis believe that April is a holy spring month and that the world was created in this month. April is also seen as a symbol of spring and rebirth.
