A protester holds a placard during the rally.The Anti-Zwarte Piet group Kick out Zwarte Piet (KOZP) organized a rally against Sinterklaas’ black-faced helpers, in Eindhoven. The group feels that the traditional form of Zwarte Piet (Black Piet) is a racist caricature. Also, during the last weeks, some of them have suffered verbal and physical racist attacks. In Eindhoven, around fifty people gathered to speak out against racism and violence from radicalized pro-Zwarte Piet groups.
