A Saxon two-light window made from a single block of sandstone in the N wall of the chancel of St Beuno's Church, Culbone. Somerset, England, UK. There is a carving in light relief In the spandrel at the top of the dividing mullion. It is described variously as a leopard; a biting beast, part cat part man, a wood sprite. Culbone is reputedly the smallest complete church in England, it is essentially a Medieval church with pre-Norman origins & remnants of saxon & Norman work.
