A show of original historical planes and their replicas could be seen at the 9th Letnany Airport Day in Prague, Czech Republic, on September 8, 2018, held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Czechoslovak air force and the 60th anniversary of the production of the Blanik glider. In the afternoon, acrobatic pilot Roman Kramarik (pictured), the first Czech to fly around the world in a small Cessna P210N plane, landed at the Letnany Airport, ending his mission that started at the Tocna airfield on the outskirts of Prague on July 25.
