Eindhoven faced some violent clashes during an anti-lockdown / anti-curfew protest that turned into fights with the police, looting shops and damaging the city. The Dutch government imposed in January a night curfew as stricter measures to fight the spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic and the new Covid-19 mutation.
