A visitor looks at the world¯s largest calligraphy Tao Te Ching by Chinese calligrapher Luo Sangui at the Nanjing 2014 Grand Art Exhibition in Nanjing city, east China¯s Jiangsu province, 20 August 2014. A calligraphy created by Luo Sangui was on display at the Nanjing 2014 Grand Art Exhibition in east China¯s Jiangsu province. The calligraphy, which measures 10 meters in height and 100 meters in length, is the world¯s largest calligraphic work of Tao Te Ching, a Chinese classic text written around 6th century BC by Chinese philosopher Laozi (Lao Tzu). To share art from different regions during the 2014 Youth Olympic Games, the Nanjing 2014 Grand Art Exhibition is open Aug 18-30. The exhibition showcases more than 500 art works by top-notch artists from over 70 countries and regions, covering traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, sculptures and more.
