Judging by the outdated map, we should now be down in Nydalen, and after rounding a bend we saw what we assumed were the natives' cabins. It surprised us, because the description from 1850 that we had planned the journey according to said that there were hardly any people living in Nydalen. The building style was primitive, but the size of the huts still led us to assume that the people here were very wealthy.
