Sign with exhibits from the Hili Tomb Excavations at the Al-Ain Museum, UAE. Set in the same grounds as the Sultan bin Zayed Fort, the Al Ain Museum is actually a low modern structure next door to the delightful fort and houses a vast collection of exhibits, some dating back to 2nd millennium BC including items originating in Iran, Iraq/Mesopotamia. The fort also is well worth a visit just to imagine life here in earlier times and has a super collection of important historic photographs. If planning a trip to the UAE, Al-Ain is well worth a visit.and if possible, a longer stay in this delightful area.
