Alitalia – Linee Aeree Italiane S.p.A., established in 1946 as Aerolinee Italiane Internazionali, more commonly known as Alitalia. Vintage 1950’s ALITALIA airline aviation Post War WW2 poster with an Alitalia Douglas DC-4 aircraft on stand named "Citta de Roma" (aircraft registration I-DALZ). Alitalia bought the plane from Pan Am as "Clipper Golden Eagle" in 1950 renamed to "Citta de Roma"
