An early circa 1940's printed photograph of behind the scenes at the Punch & Judy show at the Rodney Youth Centre, Liverpool. ---- In this building between 1923 and 1940 was housed the Embassy Club used for dances, education and weddings. It became the Rodney Youth Centre in WWII . The same building officially opened as Liverpool Irish Centre on 1 February 1965 hosting ceilidhs, music & drama performances as well as being used by clubs and societies. Today the building is commonly referred to as the Wellington Rooms and is a Grade II listed building.
