And now the Arab - Loretta Young lunches novel beach fashion. The flowing robes and burnous of the Arab inspired this novel striped beach ensemble which Loretta Young, the film actress, gaily displayed for the first time to the Hollywood film colony. Specially designed for her, the beach costume is of fine white towelling stripe in broad bands of bright blue and orange and narrower ones of brown and grey, which form an interesting colour combination for the trousers and Burnous. The draped brassiere is of all white towelling. 8 April 1937
