Duncanella cf. rudis Girty Modiomorpha varia {Billings) Hindia fibrosa {Roemer) Leptaena rhomboidalis {Wilcketis) These species have largely been derived from the Quay, an extension of the cliff which borders Cape Rosier cove and they are for the most part diminutive forms. The little and feeble assemblage is in marked contrast to the outburst of species in the formation above. Hindia fibrosa is in the fauna at Dalhousie, N. B., subsequently considered. Duncanella rudis, Lep- taena rhomboidalis, Platyceras unguiforme Cape Bon Ami; elevation 700 feet arespecies of the Hclderberg- ian, and Cordania gasepiou is in the Grande Gr^ve fauna.. / .-u-^^ .r^- .^- The same view with the cliffs much reduced in scale, showing the change which would be produced by an elevation of the land to the so fathom line. Distance from Cape Bon Ami to the old shore line, 8 miles.
