Bassenthwaite Lake, UK. 5th August, 2018. Good weather, but light winds, resulted in some early postponements on the second day of racing at Bassenthwaite Sailing Week. Hundreds of sail enthusiasts take part in the nine day event which is organised annually by Bassenthwaite Sailing Club in Cumbria. The backdrop of Skiddaw provides dramatic scenery for both sailors and spectators even if the good weather results in little wind power.
