Battle of Dreux (19 December 1562). The Catholics, led by Constable Anne de Montmorency, Francis (Duke of Guise) and Marshal Jacques d'Albon de Saint-Andre, defeated the Huguenots commanded by Louis I of Bourbon (Prince de Conde) and Admiral Gaspard II de Coligny.
