Brumadinho, Brazil. 20th July, 2023. "Sonic Pavilion" (2009), a gallery by American multidisciplinary artist Doug Aitken in Inhotim. Inhotim Institute is a private Brazilian institution founded in 2004 by Bernardo Paz, a businessman working in the mining sector. The 1,000-hectare site is both a major museum for contemporary art and a botanical garden. 23 pavilions and galleries are open to the public, showcasing the work of some one hundred contemporary artists from over thirty countries.
