'Canterbury. Gate of St. Augustine's', c1830. The Great Gate of St Augustine's Abbey, a Benedictine monastery at Canterbury in Kent. The gatehouse, also known as the Fyndon Gate, was rebuilt from 1301 to 1309 by Abbot Fyndon.
